About The Role

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced Consultant Radiologist to provide advanced diagnostic imaging and expert interpretation across a broad range of radiological studies. The ideal candidate should have strong diagnostic expertise, excellent clinical judgment, and experience working within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment. Consultant Radiology is an established DHA licensing title.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and report X-rays, ultrasound, CT scans, MRI, and other diagnostic imaging studies.
  • Provide accurate and timely radiology reports to support clinical decision-making.
  • Perform and interpret advanced imaging examinations according to clinical requirements.
  • Correlate imaging findings with clinical history, laboratory results, and previous studies.
  • Provide expert consultation to referring physicians and discuss complex cases.
  • Perform image-guided procedures and biopsies where appropriately trained and credentialed.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, tumor boards, and complex case discussions.
  • Identify urgent and critical findings and communicate them promptly to the treating team.
  • Ensure appropriate imaging protocols and maintain high standards of diagnostic quality.
  • Supervise and support radiology specialists, technologists, and other imaging staff.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and patient-safety standards.
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, teaching, research, and continuing medical education.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • MBBS / MBChB or equivalent medical degree.
  • Recognized postgraduate qualification in Radiology / Diagnostic Radiology, such as MD, DNB, FRCR, Arab Board, or equivalent.
  • Significant post-specialization experience with Consultant-level Radiology experience.
  • Strong expertise in cross-sectional imaging, particularly CT and MRI.
  • Excellent diagnostic accuracy, clinical judgment, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
