About The Role

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced Specialist ENT (Otolaryngologist) to provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of disorders affecting the ear, nose, throat, and related head and neck structures. Specialist Otolaryngology is an established UAE licensing title.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive ENT consultations, examinations, and diagnostic assessments.
  • Diagnose and manage conditions involving the ear, nose, throat, sinuses, and head & neck.
  • Manage sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, tonsillitis, otitis, hearing disorders, vertigo, tinnitus, and sleep-related breathing disorders.
  • Perform and interpret otoscopy, nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy, and other ENT investigations.
  • Perform appropriate ENT procedures and minor surgical interventions.
  • Manage acute ENT emergencies, including epistaxis, foreign bodies, airway obstruction, and severe infections.
  • Perform elective procedures such as tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, septoplasty, and sinus surgery where appropriately trained.
  • Review and interpret audiometry, imaging, laboratory results, and other diagnostic investigations.
  • Provide appropriate pre- and post-operative care and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with audiologists, speech therapists, radiologists, pediatricians, and other specialists.
  • Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, procedures, and recovery.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with UAE healthcare regulations.
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
  • MS / DNB / MRCS / FRCS / Arab Board or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification in Otolaryngology / ENT.
  • Minimum 3 years of post-specialization clinical experience preferred.
  • Strong experience in clinical ENT and common ENT procedures.
  • Excellent diagnostic, clinical decision-making, and patient-management skills.
  • Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities.
