About The Role

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced Specialist Gynecologic Oncologist to provide comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for patients with gynecological cancers and complex gynecologic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive consultations and assessments for patients with suspected or confirmed gynecological malignancies.
  • Diagnose and manage ovarian, cervical, endometrial, vulvar, vaginal, and other gynecological cancers.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings, pathology, and imaging.
  • Perform gynecologic oncology surgical procedures within the scope of expertise.
  • Manage pre-operative and post-operative care and monitor patients for complications.
  • Review and interpret ultrasound, CT, MRI, PET-CT, histopathology, and cytology results.
  • Perform or coordinate appropriate biopsies and diagnostic procedures.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary cancer care with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and other specialists.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and complex case discussions.
  • Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, prognosis, and follow-up.
  • Provide surveillance and long-term follow-up for cancer survivors.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare standards.
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, teaching, research, and continuing medical education.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
  • Recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
  • Additional recognized subspecialty qualification/fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant post-specialization/subspecialty clinical experience preferred.
  • Strong experience in managing gynecologic malignancies and complex oncology cases.
  • Excellent clinical judgment, surgical skills, and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities.
