Check the employer and application destination before sharing personal information. A listing on JobSpring is not a guarantee that the employer, offer, or recruiter is legitimate.
Before you apply
Check the employer independently
Find the company's official website yourself and look for the same role on its careers page. Compare the title, location, and application address. An application platform may host the form for an employer; its hostname alone does not establish who is hiring.
Watch for payment requests
Do not pay a recruiter to obtain a job or unlock earnings. Be wary of requests to buy gift cards, transfer cryptocurrency, or send back part of a check supposedly issued for equipment. A check appearing in your balance does not prove it is genuine.
Limit what you share
Do not send passwords or login codes to a recruiter. Verify the recipient and purpose before providing identity documents, bank details, or other sensitive information. Unexpected pressure to move quickly or communicate only through private messages deserves extra scrutiny.

Report a suspicious or outdated listing
Use our content removal and correction form, or contact JobSpring. Include the JobSpring page address, employer name, what happened, and the relevant dates. Remove sensitive details from screenshots or message excerpts.
Keep the confirmation reference if the form gives you one. Receipt of a report does not mean the listing has been investigated or removed. We may need more information to review it.
If you have already sent money or information
Contact the relevant bank or payment provider promptly and report the incident to your local consumer protection or law enforcement service. US users can report a suspected scam at ReportFraud.ftc.gov. Preserve the original messages and transaction records for your report.
