Job Summary
Leading private hospital in the UAE is looking for an experienced Consultant Oral and Dental Surgeon with strong expertise in the diagnosis and surgical management of complex oral, dental, and maxillofacial conditions. The role involves providing comprehensive surgical care, managing complex cases, and working closely with dental and medical specialists. The successful candidate will contribute to advanced oral and dental surgical services, patient safety, clinical excellence, and multidisciplinary care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage complex oral, dental, and surgical conditions.
• Perform a broad range of oral and dental surgical procedures according to clinical expertise.
• Manage impacted teeth, complex extractions, oral infections, cysts, benign lesions, and other surgical conditions.
• Perform minor and advanced oral surgical procedures within the scope of training and expertise.
• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and provide post-operative care.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and diagnostic investigations.
• Work closely with dentists, orthodontists, periodontists, prosthodontists, ENT specialists, and other medical professionals.
• Manage surgical emergencies and provide appropriate clinical intervention.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with patient safety and infection-control standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support the development of advanced oral and dental surgical services within the hospital.

Requirements

• Dental/medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in Oral Surgery, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, or a relevant specialty.
• Recognized Western qualification in Oral Surgery, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, or an appropriate relevant specialty.
• Established Consultant-level clinical experience.
• Strong experience in complex oral and dental surgical procedures.
• Proven ability to manage complex oral, dental, and maxillofacial cases.
• Experience in a leading private hospital, tertiary-care center, or advanced dental/maxillofacial setting preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, surgical skills, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary medical and dental team.
