Consultant Visceral Surgeon

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Visceral Surgeon to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in the surgical management of complex diseases involving the gastrointestinal and abdominal organs.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and surgically manage complex gastrointestinal and abdominal conditions.
• Perform open and minimally invasive surgical procedures as appropriate.
• Manage conditions involving the stomach, small intestine, colon, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, and other abdominal organs.
• Perform complex abdominal and gastrointestinal surgeries.
• Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments and develop individualized surgical plans.
• Provide postoperative care and monitor patient recovery.
• Manage surgical complications and emergency abdominal cases.
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists, oncologists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and other specialists.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical quality improvement activities.
• Maintain accurate patient records and surgical documentation.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MS/DNB or equivalent postgraduate qualification in General Surgery / Visceral Surgery.
• Significant post-specialization experience at Consultant level.
• Strong expertise in gastrointestinal and abdominal surgery.
• Experience in laparoscopic and minimally invasive procedures is preferred.
• Excellent surgical judgment, technical skills, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
