About The Role

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced Neurosurgeon to provide comprehensive surgical and non-surgical management of neurological and neurosurgical conditions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in complex neurosurgical procedures, excellent clinical judgment, and a patient-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with neurological and neurosurgical conditions.
  • Perform neurosurgical procedures for brain, spine, cranial, and peripheral nerve disorders .
  • Manage conditions including brain tumors, spinal disorders, traumatic brain injuries, hydrocephalus, vascular lesions, and degenerative spine conditions.
  • Conduct pre-operative assessments and develop individualized surgical plans.
  • Perform appropriate emergency and elective neurosurgical procedures.
  • Provide comprehensive post-operative care and monitor patients for complications.
  • Interpret MRI, CT, angiography, and other relevant neuroimaging studies.
  • Manage neurosurgical emergencies, including head trauma, intracranial hemorrhage, and acute spinal conditions.
  • Collaborate with neurologists, radiologists, oncologists, intensivists, rehabilitation specialists, and other multidisciplinary teams.
  • Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgical risks, and expected outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with UAE healthcare regulations and patient-safety standards.
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, teaching, and continuing medical education.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
  • MS / MCh / DNB / FRCS / Arab Board or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification in Neurosurgery.
  • Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred.
  • Strong experience in neurosurgical procedures and perioperative patient management.
  • Excellent clinical decision-making and surgical skills.
  • Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities.
