About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Specialist / Consultant Pulmonologist to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients with respiratory and pulmonary conditions, working within a multidisciplinary clinical environment.

Candidates with UK CCT, Western Qualified, American Board, Australian Board, or South African Board backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
  • Provide expert care for asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary infections, sleep-related disorders, and other pulmonary conditions.
  • Perform and interpret pulmonary function testing and other respiratory investigations.
  • Manage complex respiratory and critical-care cases in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Perform or supervise bronchoscopy and other pulmonary procedures where appropriately trained.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure high standards of patient safety and care.
  • Contribute to clinical education, mentoring, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in Pulmonology / Respiratory Medicine.
  • Specialist or Consultant-level clinical experience.
  • Strong experience in managing complex respiratory and pulmonary cases.
  • Procedural experience such as bronchoscopy is highly desirable.
  • Candidates with UK CCT, American Board, Australian Board, South African Board, or equivalent Western qualifications are highly encouraged.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
