About The Role

A leading healthcare organization in the UAE is seeking an experienced Specialist / Consultant Plastic Surgeon to join its expanding surgical team.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgical care, working within a modern healthcare environment equipped with advanced surgical facilities and a multidisciplinary team.

Candidates with UK CCT, Western qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, and South African Board credentials are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and surgically manage a broad range of plastic and reconstructive conditions.
  • Perform reconstructive and aesthetic surgical procedures according to clinical expertise.
  • Manage soft-tissue injuries, congenital abnormalities, scars, burns, and post-traumatic defects.
  • Perform facial, breast, body contouring, and reconstructive procedures as appropriate.
  • Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and develop individualized surgical plans.
  • Provide post-operative monitoring, follow-up, and complication management.
  • Perform procedures using appropriate surgical and minimally invasive techniques.
  • Collaborate with dermatologists, oncologists, maxillofacial surgeons, orthopedic surgeons, ENT specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and surgical documentation.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain high standards of patient safety, infection control, and evidence-based surgical practice.

Requirements

  • MBBS, MD, or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Recognized postgraduate qualification in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery .
  • Relevant post-specialization clinical and surgical experience.
  • Proven expertise in plastic, reconstructive, or aesthetic surgery.
  • Candidates with UK CCT / FRCS, American Board, Australian Board / FRACS, South African Board , or equivalent internationally recognized specialist qualifications are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in a tertiary-care hospital or specialist surgical center preferred.
  • Strong surgical judgment and technical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
  • Expertise in reconstructive microsurgery, breast surgery, facial plastic surgery, burns, hand surgery, or aesthetic procedures will be an advantage.
