About The Role

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced Specialist Vascular Surgeon to provide comprehensive diagnosis, surgical management, and follow-up care for patients with vascular and circulatory disorders. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in both elective and emergency vascular surgery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose patients with arterial, venous, and lymphatic disorders.
  • Perform vascular surgical procedures and provide appropriate pre- and post-operative care.
  • Manage conditions including peripheral arterial disease, varicose veins, deep vein thrombosis, carotid disease, aneurysms, and diabetic vascular complications .
  • Perform and interpret vascular assessments and relevant diagnostic investigations.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and interventional specialists for appropriate endovascular management.
  • Manage acute vascular emergencies, including acute limb ischemia, vascular trauma, and ruptured aneurysms.
  • Perform procedures such as vascular access, venous interventions, and other procedures within the scope of expertise.
  • Monitor patients for post-operative complications and provide appropriate follow-up.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary care with cardiologists, diabetologists, nephrologists, interventional radiologists, and other specialists.
  • Counsel patients regarding treatment options, risk-factor modification, and post-operative care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare standards.
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
  • MS / MCh / DNB / FRCS / Arab Board or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification in Vascular Surgery.
  • Minimum 3 years of post-specialization clinical experience preferred.
  • Strong experience in vascular surgical procedures and patient management.
  • Experience with endovascular techniques is highly desirable.
  • Excellent clinical judgment, surgical skills, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
