Emergency Medicine-Junior Consultant-Private Healthcare Facility

About The Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Junior Consultant – Emergency Medicine to join a leading private healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality emergency medical care, managing acute and critical cases, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with acute and emergency medical conditions.
- Lead and participate in the initial assessment, stabilization, and resuscitation of critically ill patients.
- Manage trauma, cardiac, neurological, respiratory, infectious, and other emergency presentations.
- Perform and supervise emergency procedures within the scope of practice.
- Coordinate patient admissions, referrals, transfers, and consultations with relevant specialties.
- Ensure accurate clinical documentation and appropriate patient handover.
- Work closely with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
- Participate in emergency department protocols, quality improvement initiatives, audits, and patient safety activities.
- Provide guidance and supervision to junior doctors and other clinical staff where required.
- Maintain compliance with the facility's clinical policies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards.
Requirements
- Medical degree ( MBBS or equivalent ) from a recognized institution.
- Postgraduate qualification in Emergency Medicine or equivalent.
- Relevant specialist/consultant-level experience in Emergency Medicine.
- Western Qualified doctors are preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and resuscitation skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure emergency department environment.
