Podiatrist - Junior Specialist

A leading government healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking qualified and experienced Podiatrists to provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of foot and lower-limb conditions. The successful candidates will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of foot and lower-limb conditions.
• Provide conservative and preventive podiatric treatment.
• Manage diabetic foot conditions, ulcers, infections, and wound-care cases.
• Perform appropriate minor procedures within scope of practice.
• Provide biomechanical assessments and recommend appropriate orthotics where required.
• Manage sports-related and musculoskeletal foot conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans.
• Educate patients on foot health, prevention, and self-care.
• Collaborate with endocrinologists, orthopedic surgeons, vascular surgeons, physiotherapists, and other specialists.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality improvement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Podiatry / Podiatric Medicine or equivalent recognized qualification.
• Relevant clinical experience according to the position level.
• Strong experience in podiatric assessment and treatment.
• Experience in diabetic foot care, wound management, biomechanics, orthotics, and musculoskeletal conditions is highly desirable.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and patient-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Candidates with internationally recognized podiatry qualifications and relevant specialist experience are encouraged to apply.
