Contract Lead .Net Developer (Optimizely)

Join an established multi-site enterprise organization as a Lead .NET Developer. In this 6-month initial contract role, you will take complete technical ownership of building brand-new, customer-facing web platforms and digital applications. You will guide architecture, set engineering standards, and drive end-to-end delivery alongside product and technical stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include leading the technical direction and architecture, driving hands-on engineering, implementing and integrating Optimizely CMS/DXP, mentoring delivery teams, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.

• Proven track record operating as a Lead Developer or Technical Lead, guiding project architecture and engineering teams on enterprise web builds
• Strong commercial experience implementing, configuring, and extending Optimizely (formerly Episerver) CMS / DXP solutions
• Extensive experience working within Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum/Kanban), driving sprint delivery and backlog management
• Deep, hands-on development expertise in modern .NET (.NET Core / .NET 6+) and C#
• Solid understanding of modern web architectures, API design (RESTful services), headless setups, and cloud hosting environments (Azure preferred)
