Pathologist

We are seeking a skilled Specialist Pathologist to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in laboratory medicine, diagnostic pathology, and interpretation of clinical specimens to support accurate patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine and interpret tissue, blood, fluid, and other clinical specimens.
• Perform and report histopathology, cytology, and relevant laboratory investigations.
• Provide accurate diagnostic reports to support clinical decision-making.
• Review and correlate pathology findings with clinical and imaging information.
• Participate in multidisciplinary discussions and tumor boards when required.
• Perform or supervise appropriate special stains, immunohistochemistry, and other diagnostic techniques.
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely reporting of laboratory results.
• Collaborate with clinicians, surgeons, oncologists, and laboratory teams.
• Maintain accurate pathology records and documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement, audits, and continuing professional development.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MD/DNB/FCPS or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Pathology.
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred.
• Strong experience in diagnostic pathology and laboratory medicine.
• Good knowledge of histopathology and cytopathology.
• Experience with immunohistochemistry and advanced diagnostic techniques is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and communication skills.
