Job Summary
A leading private hospital in the UAE is looking for an experienced Consultant Paediatrician to provide comprehensive medical care for infants, children, and adolescents. The role involves managing a broad range of paediatric conditions, providing evidence-based treatment, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical experience, excellent communication skills, and a recognized Western postgraduate qualification, with experience in a hospital or tertiary/private healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for paediatric patients from infancy through adolescence.
• Manage acute, chronic, and complex paediatric medical conditions.
• Conduct routine paediatric consultations, health assessments, and developmental evaluations.
• Manage paediatric emergencies and provide appropriate stabilization and treatment.
• Monitor growth, nutrition, development, and vaccination requirements.
• Order and interpret appropriate laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic investigations.
• Work closely with paediatric subspecialists and multidisciplinary teams when required.
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical and patient-safety standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, teaching, and continuing professional development.

Requirements

• Medical degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Paediatrics.
• Recognized Western qualification such as UK CCT/CCST, American Board, Canadian, Australian, New Zealand, Irish, or equivalent recognized qualification.
• Consultant-level clinical experience in Paediatrics.
• Strong experience managing a broad range of paediatric medical conditions.
• Experience in a private, tertiary, or leading hospital environment is preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and patient-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and their families.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, patient safety, and high-quality clinical care.
