Guides and answers for job seekers, recruiters, and hiring teams.

Job seeker vs recruiter accounts

Understand which dashboard and actions apply to your account.

Before you start

Jobseeker and recruiter accounts have different dashboard workflows. Jobseekers look for work and manage their applications; recruiters manage hiring workflows.

What to do

  1. 1
Check your dashboard. Use the dashboard provided after sign-in rather than changing a dashboard address to try to gain another role.
  2. 2
Use the matching workflow. For jobseeker application guidance, start with Apply for a job. For recruiter questions, describe the hiring page you are using when contacting support.
  3. 3
Ask about access. If the account type does not fit your needs, contact JobSpring rather than assuming a role switch is available.

Important limitations

Keep in mind

One login is not proof of authorization for both dashboards. A recruiter account cannot use the jobseeker save-job workflow.

If you need more help

If a control is missing or an action fails, include the page address and the message shown when you contact JobSpring. Never include your password, sign-in code or payment-card details.
