About The Role

We're hiring Senior CNC Machinists for our precision machine shop serving the aerospace, defense, medical, and semiconductor industries .

This is a weekend day-shift position where you work 36 hours but are paid for 40.

You'll machine tight-tolerance stainless steel and aluminum components across 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC mills and 2 and 3-axis CNC lathes . We're open to dedicated mill machinists, lathe machinists, or experienced machinists capable of running both.

Compensation

  • $30–$40/hr
  • Guaranteed 40 hours of pay for 36 hours worked

What You'll Run

  • CNC Mills: 3, 4, and 5-axis
  • CNC Lathes: 2 and 3-axis horizontal
  • Controls: Fanuc, including machine-side G-code edits
  • Materials: Stainless steel and aluminum
  • Work: Complex, tight-tolerance precision components

Requirements

  • Independently perform setups on 3–5-axis mills and/or 2–3-axis CNC lathes .
  • Interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions.
  • Select tooling and establish work and tool offsets.
  • Make machine-side G-code edits and offset corrections on Fanuc controls.
  • Prove out first parts and make necessary adjustments before releasing jobs to production.
  • Hold tight tolerances throughout production runs.
  • Perform in-process inspection using micrometers, calipers, indicators, bore gauges, and other manual inspection equipment .
  • Troubleshoot machining, tooling, dimensional, and setup issues at the machine.

  • 3+ years of CNC setup experience on mills and/or lathes
  • Ability to independently take a machine from setup through production
  • Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
  • Hands-on G-code editing experience
  • Experience making machine-side offsets and program adjustments
  • Proven ability to hold tight tolerances
  • Strong proficiency with manual inspection equipment

Preferred

  • Aerospace, defense, medical, or semiconductor machining experience
  • 4-axis or 5-axis milling experience
  • Hardinge, Doosan, or Swiss-style CNC lathe experience
  • Experience working in high-mix, tight-tolerance precision machining environments
