About The Role
HR Specialist Position Overview Employment Type: Full-time Education: Bachelor's Degree Experience Required: 2 years Location: Kisumu, Kenya Key Responsibilities Employee Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire local employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, contract administration, attendance tracking, and performance evaluations. Statutory & Tax Compliance: Prepare and compile monthly documents and materials for statutory remittances, ensuring timely and accurate filing of NSSF, NHIF, PAYE, and related tax/social security requirements. Employee Relations & Labor Compliance: Facilitate smooth employee communication, manage disciplinary hearings, and handle termination/separation procedures in strict compliance with Kenyan labor laws. HR Administration & Reporting: Issue various HR documents (such as employment and clearance certificates) and compile comprehensive human resource reports to support management decisions. Job Requirements Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Legal & Statutory Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Kenyan labor laws and practical, hands-on knowledge of NSSF, NHIF, and PAYE declaration processes. Professional Experience: Proven experience in HR operations, specifically in recruitment, employee relations, and contract management. Language & Communication: Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across different stakeholders. Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, highly organized, rigorous, and possessing strong problem-solving capabilities.
