About The Role
Responsibility : 1.Lead and oversee all occupational health and safety activities across the warehouse and factory operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices. 2.Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety management systems, procedures, and risk control measures to promote a safe working environment. <3.Direct> and monitor routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across all operational areas, ensuring timely identification and mitigation of safety hazards and operational risks. <4.Drive> corrective and preventive action plans arising from inspections, audits, incident investigations, and regulatory requirements to minimize workplace accidents and injuries. 5.Develop and deliver comprehensive safety training programs, emergency preparedness drills, and awareness campaigns to strengthen employee safety knowledge, compliance, and response capabilities. 6.Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, near misses, and occupational illnesses, ensuring root causes are identified and effective corrective actions are implemented. 7.Ensure full compliance with local occupational health and safety legislation, environmental regulations, and company safety standards. 8.Liaise with government agencies, regulatory authorities, auditors, and other external stakeholders on health and safety matters. 9.Monitor safety performance indicators, analyze trends, and provide strategic recommendations to management for continuous improvement. 10.Prepare and present accurate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual safety reports, ensuring proper maintenance of safety records and documentation for internal audits and regulatory compliance. 11.Manage emergency response programs, fire safety systems, evacuation procedures, and business continuity plans to ensure organizational preparedness. 12.Lead, mentor, and develop the safety team, ensuring effective execution of safety programs and achievement of departmental objectives. 13.Collaborate with Production, Warehouse, Engineering, Quality, and Human Resources departments to integrate safety considerations into operational planning and decision-making. Qulification: 1.Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering, Industrial Safety, or a related field. 2. Minimum of Eight (8) years of relevant experience in health and safety management, with at least four (4) years in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Experience in a manufacturing or factory environment is highly preferred. 3. Strong knowledge of local occupational health and safety laws, environmental regulations, and industry standards. 4. Proven ability to develop and implement safety management systems, conduct risk assessments, and lead incident investigations. 5. Strong leadership, people management, and stakeholder engagement skills. 6.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. 7. Proficient in safety reporting, data analysis, and compliance documentation. 8. High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to fostering a strong safety culture.
