About The Role

Manage the commercial resources (finance) of the assigned project to maximise planned gross profit through the placement and control of subcontracts
Provide commercial expertise to contracts, to include the production and submission of valuations, claims, budget monitoring, and contract/workstream performance data
Assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks
Support the authorisation and submission of project variations.
Lead provide consultation to clients on Value Engineering opportunities.
Authorise the placement of contracts, subcontracts, material and plant orders
Provide guidance to junior members of the team
Maximise cash flow through the control, measurement (including quality) and valuation of work, and the invoicing of customers and payment of suppliers
Evaluate work executed by sub-contractors and certify interim and final payments.
Be proficient with regards to technical knowledge and skills to enable you to undertake the role to the best of your ability
Compile interim valuation to the client in a timely manner in line with pre-agreed valuation schedules and ensure that valuations are maximised with regards to values claimed to enhance cash flow for projects where possible
Produce interim internal Cost Value Reconciliation Reports
