About The Role

The Sr. Sustaining Engineer is responsible for maintaining, improving, and enhancing existing products to meet customer requirements and business objectives. This role leads engineering change activities, including ECNs, ECRs, documentation, drafting, and prototype development, while driving resolution of complex technical issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions. Working closely with product development, manufacturing, suppliers, and cross-functional teams, the engineer implements design improvements, cost reduction initiatives, feature enhancements, and reliability upgrades. Responsibilities also include managing technical documentation, developing 3D models and detailed drawings, supporting VAVE programs, and ensuring product performance and manufacturability. As a subject matter expert, the Senior Sustaining Engineer promotes continuous improvement, provides technical leadership, and contributes to the long-term success and growth of the product portfolio.
