Internship 2027 for PCGB Operational Excellence, Commodities, Chemicals Group Berhad, Downstream, (Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering)

Role Purpose
Support the Energy & Operations Section in driving operational excellence initiatives, energy performance improvement, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement programs across manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring and analysing OE performance data.
- Support the implementation of OE initiatives, improvement programs, and performance management activities.
- Prepare dashboards, reports, presentations, and data analyses for management reviews and OE meetings.
- Assist in identifying performance gaps, operational threats, and improvement opportunities through data-driven assessments.
- Support tracking and follow-up of action items arising from audits, assessments, reviews, and improvement projects.
- Assist in developing and updating procedures, guidelines, and documentation related to operational excellence.
- Coordinate engagement sessions, workshops, and meetings with stakeholders across operating units.
- Support digitalization initiatives, including data management, dashboard development, and process automation projects.
- Perform any other operational excellence and business improvement assignments as required by the section.

Learning Outcomes

- Experience in data analytics, Power BI/dashboard reporting, and performance management.
