Role Overview
Make a meaningful impact on our people, culture and business performance as a Senior HR Business Partner at Flinders Port Holdings. You'll work closely with leaders across your portfolios, providing practical advice, coaching and people solutions that support their teams and business priorities.
You'll balance strategic thinking with hands-on HR partnering, collaborate with specialists across People & Brand and the wider business, and help deliver people initiatives and OneFPH projects that make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build trusted partnerships with leaders, coaching and supporting them to lead their teams, navigate change and achieve business goals;
  • Provide practical HR advice across the employee lifecycle, including performance, conduct, employee relations and workforce planning;
  • Identify and manage people risks, partnering with HR and IR/ER specialists on complex matters as needed;
  • Use workforce data and business insights to shape decisions, anticipate trends and identify opportunities for improvement;
  • Support talent, culture and engagement initiatives that strengthen capability and employee experience; and
  • Lead and contribute to people projects across the business, working collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver outcomes.

About you
You're an experienced HR professional who enjoys building relationships, influencing outcomes and finding practical solutions in a complex business environment. You bring sound judgement, a collaborative approach and the confidence to coach and challenge leaders constructively.
You also bring:

  • Experience partnering with leaders across the full spectrum of HR, including employee and industrial relations, workforce planning and organisational change matters;
  • Strong industrial and employee relations capability, with experience interpreting and applying enterprise agreements, modern awards and employment legislation in a complex environment;
  • Commercial acumen and sound judgement, with ability to balance business objectives, operational requirements, risk and employee outcomes in decision making;
  • Well developed communication, influencing, negotiation and analytical skills, with the ability to build credibility and resolve complex issues;
  • A relevant qualification in HR, psychology, business, law or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; and
  • A current driver's licence and the ability to obtain an MSIC.
