This is your chance to gain hands-on experience across the full employee lifecycle while working alongside the People team in a fast-paced, supportive manufacturing environment.
What You'll Be Doing
No two days are the same in this role. You'll gain exposure to a broad range of People & Capability activities, including:
Talent & Recruitment

  • Coordinating interviews and supporting candidate experiences
  • Assisting with onboarding and induction activities
  • Supporting cross-boarding and internal movements
  • Managing new starter equipment and system access

Learning & Development

  • Scheduling training sessions and capability-building programs
  • Assisting with training bookings and maintaining learning records
  • Supporting the delivery of development initiatives across the business

People Operations

  • Preparing employment documentation including contracts and role changes
  • Maintaining employee records and position descriptions
  • Assisting with HR reporting and data accuracy
  • Supporting policy updates and document control

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Coordinating employee recognition programs
  • Supporting celebrations, wellbeing initiatives and company events
  • Helping organise our annual Christmas Party and site engagement activities
  • Creating and distributing site communications

Compliance & Administration

  • Monitoring mandatory training completion
  • Supporting policy acknowledgements and compliance activities
  • Responding to employee enquiries
  • Providing administrative support across the site

We're Looking For Someone Who Is:

  • Passionate about people and workplace culture
  • Organised and highly detail-oriented
  • A strong communicator who enjoys building relationships
  • Confident managing multiple tasks and priorities
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems
  • Proactive, curious and eager to learn
  • Ready to roll up their sleeves and get involved

What You'll Bring

  • A recent or upcoming qualification in Human Resource Management, Business, Psychology or related discipline.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good Microsoft Office skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong organisational and administrative capability
