Race and Sportsbook Supervisor

The Sportsbook Supervisor oversees and leads the day-to-day operations of the Sportsbook, ensuring exceptional guest service, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance. This role is responsible for supporting the Sportsbook Manager/Director in developing and coaching team members, delivering industry-leading customer service, maintaining compliance with all gaming regulations, and ensuring adherence to cash handling procedures, internal controls, and standard operating procedures. The Sportsbook Supervisor serves as a hands-on leader, fostering a positive team environment while driving operational efficiency, accuracy, and a best-in-class guest experience.

• Provide exceptional guest service by creating a welcoming and professional environment.
• Assist guests with wagering transactions, promotions, and sportsbook products.
• Resolve guest concerns, disputes, and transaction discrepancies promptly and professionally.
• Promote company programs, special events, and sportsbook offerings.
• Supervise daily Race & Sportsbook operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and gaming regulations.
• Monitor betting activity and wagering transactions for accuracy and integrity.
• Verify payouts and authorize transactions within established limits.
• Ensure proper opening, closing, balancing, and reconciliation procedures are completed.
• Monitor sportsbook technology, kiosks, displays, and wagering systems; coordinate service support when necessary.
• Direct, coach, and support Race & Sportsbook Writers and other department team members.
• Assist with training new employees and ongoing development of current staff.
• Monitor employee performance and provide feedback to improve productivity and guest service.
• Ensure team members maintain compliance with company service standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with scheduling and managing labor resources based on business demand.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to wagering activities.
• Ensure adherence to all federal, state, tribal, and gaming commission regulations.
• Monitor for suspicious wagering activity and report concerns according to established procedures.
• Maintain integrity of cash handling and internal control procedures.
• Assist with audits, investigations, and regulatory inspections as needed.
• Must be 19 years of age or older
• Proficient in English verbal and written
• 1 or more years of experience in gaming and or sportsbook related roles preferred.
• Ability to oversee operations during a variety of hours, days weekends, and holidays.
• Must be confident in one’s ability to assess situations and make informed decisions
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to manage relationships
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage a diverse range of activities and effectively prioritize responsibilities
• Post-Secondary education preferred or relative working experience.
• Excellent working knowledge of both front and back of house operations as it relates to sportsbooks and/or casino environments.
• Proven ability to understand the customer and advocate for player interest.

• Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period
• Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance according to schedule.
• Fast paced environment, multiple tasks to be handled under time constraint.
• Must be able to work with the public in a professional manner at all times.
• Must be able to respect confidentiality to both guests and company as sensitive information will be given and received.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License
