Senior .net Backend Engineer (m/f)

Description:

We are hiring a Senior .net Backend Engineer within our IT Payments Team with a Fixed-Term Contract for 6 months to join our international team based in Schengen, Luxembourg immediately.

WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build REST APIs in .NET 10 powering customer onboarding, payments, accounts, and risk systems
• Integrate with different Payment Service Providers
• Integrate SEPA messaging workflows and external payment providers
• Integrate with Card Issuers (BIN sponsors, issuer processors)
• Build out monitoring, observability, logging, and alerting patterns
• Provide architecture guidance on service decomposition, API contracts, data modelling and integration patterns

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS:

• 10+ years backend engineering including driving architecture decisions
• Fintech / EMI / Payments background
• Nice to have: Azure knowledge (Bicep, Service Bus, Container Apps, Key Vault, APIM)
• Nice to have: Familiarity with fraud and risk systems
• Nice to have: Familiarity with KYC/AML processes in a financial institution
