Buyer - Temporary Assignment (m/f/d)Job DescriptionTitle: Buyer - Temporary Assignment (m/f/d)Id: 21617Type: FullTimeLocation: LuxembourgJob DescriptionIn this role you will perform procurement activities as well as database and compliance document management.This is a temporary assignment until end of the year.Responsibilities: Communicate daily demand to suppliers using Material Requirement Planning. Ensure supplier delivery dates are provided and maintained in our ERP System (BaaN LN) Ensure supplier delivery commitments are met. Cleanup Item Database and communicate with Customs to provide required documents. May participate and/or conduct presentation to suppliers; and/or negotiate with suppliers Manage engineering changes through daily reviews of engineering change orders Participate in and/or may lead continuous improvement activitiesQualifications: Post-secondary education preferred Several years of purchasing experience in a similar position gained in an industrial, fast-paced work environment Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components is an asset Ability to understand mechanical drawings, electrical and hydraulic schematics preferred Knowledge of business processes General knowledge regarding supplier agreements and intellectual property Proficient in computer applications (ERP, MS Office) and able to conduct data analysis Excellent organizational and communication skills Strong problem solving attitude Effective time management Good analyzing and problem-solving skills Fluent in English and French.
