Job Overview

Job Summary:**

The Foreman TX will lead and supervise a crew on construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in all operations. This role is responsible for the successful execution of daily tasks and the overall progress of assigned projects.

Job Responsibilities:**

• Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of a construction crew, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.
• Ensure all work is performed safely, adhering to company policies, OSHA regulations, and project-specific safety plans.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents to ensure accurate and compliant execution of work.
• Manage and maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and other necessary documentation.
• Identify and resolve issues, conflicts, and challenges that may arise during project execution.
• Operate and oversee the use of various construction equipment and tools.
• Train and mentor crew members, promoting skill development and a positive work environment.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, superintendents, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are readily available and properly maintained.
• Monitor project costs and labor hours, working to maintain budget adherence.

Job Qualifications:**

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a demanding construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, procedures, and safety regulations (OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in operating various construction equipment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work extended hours and in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to travel to various job sites within Texas.
