Overnight Skilled Construction Laborer

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Skilled Laborer to support an active construction project during the overnight shift.

This is a part-time position averaging approximately 20 hours per week, with work scheduled 2–4 nights per week. The ideal candidate will have construction experience, be comfortable working overnight, and have a strong focus on safety, reliability, and quality.

The Skilled Laborer will assist the construction crew with general labor, material handling, site preparation, cleanup, and other tasks as directed by the Foreman or Superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction and skilled labor duties on an active jobsite
• Assist carpenters, tradespeople, and other construction personnel as needed
• Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials and equipment
• Assist with installation, demolition, and site preparation
• Set up and maintain temporary construction barriers, screens, and protective materials
• Perform jobsite cleanup and maintain a safe, organized work area
• Use basic hand and power tools safely and properly
• Follow instructions from the Foreman/Superintendent
• Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
• Work safely around active construction areas and other trades
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards

PART-TIME — APPROXIMATELY 20 HOURS PER WEEK

• 2–4 nights per week
• Overnight shift
• Exact work nights and shift hours will be provided by the project team
• Schedule may vary based on project needs

Requirements

• Previous construction or skilled labor experience preferred
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical labor for extended periods
• Must be available to work 2–4 overnight shifts per week
• Comfortable working overnight hours
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively with a team
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Must have appropriate work boots and basic hand tools

Preferred Experience

• Commercial construction experience
• Hospital, healthcare, or occupied-building construction experience
• Experience with temporary construction barriers/screens
• Experience assisting carpenters or other skilled trades
• OSHA 10 certification
