About The Role

The QC Inspector – Instrument performs inspection and testing of instrumentation construction activities to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.

SECTION II: Job Analysis

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process and final inspections on instrumentation installation works.
  • Witness loop checks, calibration, and instrument testing activities per the ITP.
  • Verify instrument installation, tubing, and wiring against approved drawings and specifications.
  • Verify materials and instruments against material certificates and specifications.
  • Record inspection results and raise Non-Conformance Reports as required.
  • Coordinate hold points and inspections with client/third-party inspectors.
  • Maintain inspection records, checklists, and daily QC reports.
  • Verify calibration status of test and measuring equipment used on site.
  • Support punch-list generation and verification of closure for instrumentation works.
  • Ensure work fronts comply with approved method statements and instrumentation standards.
  • Support preparation of quality documentation for instrumentation handover dossiers.

SECTION V: Required Experience and Education

Experience

  • 5–8 years of experience as a QC Inspector on instrumentation construction projects.

Education

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering.
  • QC/inspection certification preferred.
