Specialist / Consultant Pulmonologist in Government

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Specialist / Consultant Pulmonologist to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients with respiratory and pulmonary conditions, working within a multidisciplinary clinical environment.

Candidates with UK CCT, Western Qualified, American Board, Australian Board, or South African Board backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
Provide expert care for asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary infections, sleep-related disorders, and other pulmonary conditions.
Perform and interpret pulmonary function testing and other respiratory investigations.
Manage complex respiratory and critical-care cases in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Perform or supervise bronchoscopy and other pulmonary procedures where appropriately trained.
Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical decision-making.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure high standards of patient safety and care.
Contribute to clinical education, mentoring, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in Pulmonology / Respiratory Medicine.
Specialist or Consultant-level clinical experience.
Strong experience in managing complex respiratory and pulmonary cases.
Procedural experience such as bronchoscopy is highly desirable.
Candidates with UK CCT, American Board, Australian Board, South African Board, or equivalent Western qualifications are highly encouraged.
