Non-OHSU Student Worker- Undergraduates

Under direct supervision, primarily performs basic research or lab activities similar to a Research Assistant 1 or Lab Aide Research at the OHSU-SOD will include not only basic bench work in the laboratory but also learning how to design experiments: - Independently using instrumentation and performing basic laboratory techniques such as pipetting and buffering solutions with a pH meter - Generating and analyzing data from experiments and collected health surveys - The summer will include lab meetings and learning how to keep a lab notebook and daily log of activities
