How can we help?

Guides and answers for job seekers, recruiters, and hiring teams.

Withdrawing an application

Review withdrawal options for the application you want to stop pursuing.

Before you start

Withdrawal is different from unsaving a job. Only use the withdrawal action for an application you intend to stop pursuing.

What to do

  1. 1
Open the application. Sign in and open the relevant application management view.
  2. 2
Read the confirmation. If the withdrawal control is available, review its confirmation and any reason field before deciding.
  3. 3
Check the updated record. After confirming, check the application record and any error or success message.

Important limitations

Keep in mind

Changing a JobSpring record is not proof that an external employer system also changed. Do not assume that a recruiter received an email or that every application method supports the same withdrawal behavior.

If you need more help

If a control is missing or an action fails, include the page address and the message shown when you contact JobSpring. Never include your password, sign-in code or payment-card details.
