HEAD OF OPERATIONS

Job location - Colombo

Job Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to departmental managers and supervisors, ensuring operational activities align with organizational goals and priorities.
• Oversee Hub, Transport, Customer Service, Head Office, and Branch Operations to ensure efficient service delivery and achievement of customer and delivery targets.
• Monitor KPIs and operational performance, driving process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, quality enhancements, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to forecast demand, plan resources and delivery schedules, manage budgets, and optimize costs and profitability.
• Ensure compliance and business representation by maintaining regulatory, industry, and safety standards while representing the organization in external forums, industry events, and partnerships.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification
• Excellent command of the English and Sinhala language
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar capacity preferably in Logistics industry
• Computer literacy with knowledge of MS office packages
• Good customer relationships and problem-solving skills.
