Global Category Manager - Ocean Freight

Join Schneider Electric as a Global Category Manager for Ocean Freight. In this role, you will lead the global ocean freight procurement strategy, manage strategic sourcing activities, develop strong carrier and 3PL partnerships, optimize contracts, and deliver sustainable cost and operational improvements. You will collaborate with stakeholders across logistics, finance, planning, customs, and procurement functions worldwide. If you have a minimum of 10 years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, procurement, or related fields, and are passionate about supply chain optimization, we want to hear from you.

• Develop and implement comprehensive ocean freight sourcing and supplier strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with ocean carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers, managing contract negotiations and ensuring compliance.
• Collaborate closely with global and regional teams including Logistics, Finance, Planning, Customs & Trade Compliance, and Transportation to influence senior stakeholders.
