As a Back of House Manager , you’re not just overseeing daily back of house operations – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day

• Oversee back of house operations: Ensure high standards of cleanliness, organization, and efficiency across all kitchen support areas
• Manage inventory and ordering: Monitor and order crockery, cutlery, glassware, and supplies to align with business needs for events and daily service
• Control stock and costs: Conduct regular stock takes, analyze loss trends, and implement controls to minimize waste and maintain par levels
• Manage purchasing and invoicing: Raise purchase orders, reconcile invoices, and partner with suppliers to secure quality products within budget
• Support cross-functional collaboration: Partner with departments including Finance and Events to ensure smooth operations and strong working relationships
• Inspire and develop the team: Train, supervise, and mentor team members; conduct performance evaluations, provide professional development opportunities, and recognize achievements to build an engaged and high-performing team
• Uphold regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing
