About The Role

As a Sr. HSE Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will lead and oversee health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure a safe and compliant workplace. You will play a critical role in driving safety culture, managing risk, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

You will report directly to our HSE Manager and you’ll work out of our facility location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the safety and well-being of employees and contractors by implementing effective HSE strategies and fostering a proactive safety environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of health, safety, and environmental programs in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
  • Develop, deliver, and coordinate HSE training programs to enhance employee awareness and competency in safety practices.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE considerations into operational processes and projects.
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics, ensuring timely communication to management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainability initiatives within the workplace.
  • Manage emergency response preparedness, including drills and updating emergency plans.
  • Support the development and enforcement of safety policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Mentor and guide junior HSE staff and promote a culture of safety leadership throughout the organization.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 8+ years of experience in HSE engineering or supervision
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices
  • Proven ability to lead safety programs and manage compliance
  • Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations
