About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy
Radiology Coordinator with prior experience supporting US healthcare providers, radiology clinics, or healthcare organizations
.
In this role, you will support a high-volume, 24/7 radiology operation and serve as a crucial liaison between radiologists, hospital staff, and clinical teams. You will help ensure critical diagnostic findings are communicated swiftly and accurately, manage exam prioritization, and troubleshoot basic IT or software issues within clinical systems.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of
US healthcare workflows and medical terminology
, is comfortable communicating with US-based clinical teams, and can independently manage time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Critical Findings & Communication
Accurately and promptly relay critical radiology results and urgent findings to US hospitals, referring physicians, and clinical care teams in accordance with established clinical protocols.
Workflow & Exam Coordination
Assist radiologists by tracking, prioritizing, and coordinating incoming diagnostic exams based on clinical urgency.
Technical & System Support
Perform basic IT and software troubleshooting to resolve minor system glitches, access issues, or workflow disruptions within radiology and healthcare platforms.
Operations & Monitoring
Actively monitor communication channels, incoming calls, and system alerts to ensure rapid response times.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain precise, real-time records of communications, exam updates, and operational activities while adhering to patient privacy and confidentiality requirements.
Protocol Adherence
Follow established SOPs and US healthcare operational protocols within a 24/7 environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
US Healthcare Experience – Required
- Previous experience supporting
- US-based healthcare providers, hospitals, clinics, radiology practices, or other healthcare organizations is required
- . Candidates should be familiar with US healthcare workflows and professional communication with clinical teams.
Relevant Experience
- Previous experience in
- radiology coordination, healthcare operations, medical administration, patient coordination, or a healthcare virtual assistant role
- is strongly preferred.
Medical Terminology
Strong practical knowledge of medical terminology. Familiarity with radiology terminology is highly desirable.
Technical Skills
Strong aptitude for basic IT troubleshooting and the ability to quickly learn healthcare and radiology software systems.
Communication
Excellent verbal and written English, with the ability to communicate urgent clinical information clearly, accurately, and professionally.
