Cloud Governance

The Cloud Consultant is responsible for the end-to-end management, administration, and continuous optimization of the organization's enterprise virtualization and cloud infrastructure - spanning VMware, Hyper-V, and Microsoft Azure - in support of multiple government entities hosted at the MCIT Datacenter in Qatar. This role owns the reliable, secure, and compliant operation of an environment of 1,500+ servers; leads the onboarding of new government entities onto datacenter infrastructure; and drives the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of infrastructure and cloud solutions, including hybrid cloud, backup and disaster recovery, and next-generation container-based technologies. The role acts as a technical authority on datacenter and cloud infrastructure, balancing operational stability with the adoption of new technologies to meet evolving government business requirements.
