Internal Auditor - QHSE

Ali & Sons is looking for an experienced Internal Auditor – QHSE to support the execution of our Group wide QHSE auditing programme across our diversified portfolio of businesses. This is a role for an audit professional who goes beyond identifying findings , someone who can understand risk, challenge controls, identify opportunities for improvement and translate audit insights into practical actions that strengthen efficiency, compliance and operational performance. What You'll Do Plan, prepare and execute scheduled QHSE and risk-based operational audits across Group entities. Develop audit scopes by identifying relevant internal controls, processes and risk areas. Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls against applicable standards, regulatory requirements and best practices. Document audit findings, observations and improvement opportunities clearly and accurately. Follow up with management on corrective and remedial actions to ensure timely closure. Prepare high-quality Audit Reports and Executive Summary Reports for management. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness and cost savings through audit recommendations. Support the development, implementation and enhancement of audit tools and methodologies to improve audit efficiency. Create, review and maintain Internal Audit policies, procedures and plans. Coordinate and conduct special audits, investigations and ad-hoc assignments with minimal supervision. Who We're Looking For We're looking for a detail-oriented and commercially aware QHSE audit professional who can operate independently, challenge established processes and provide practical recommendations that create value for the business. Qualifications & Experience : Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline. Minimum 5 years of demonstrated auditing experience. Certified Internal Auditor qualifications for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001 and ISO 27001is essential. Certified Internal Auditor qualification for API Spec Q1 & Q2 is preferred. Strong knowledge of relevant QHSE standards, specifications and regulatory requirements. Proven experience in risk-based operational auditing, internal controls and compliance assessment. Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills. Ability to identify risks, assess controls and develop practical recommendations to mitigate them. Valid UAE Driver's License.
