UAE NATIONAL OPPORTUNITY | CYBER SECURITY MANAGER

We are looking for a talented UAE National to join Emirates Flight Catering as our Cyber Security Manager within the Information Technology team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced cybersecurity professional to take on a key role in protecting our IT environment, strengthening our security posture and supporting the continued resilience of a complex and evolving technology landscape.

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Manager – Cyber Security, the Cyber Security Manager will lead key areas of our cybersecurity agenda, working closely with IT teams, business stakeholders and external security partners.

Key responsibilities will include

• Leading the investigation and root cause analysis of cybersecurity incidents and ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions
• Managing cybersecurity risks and supporting the business in maintaining appropriate security controls
• Partnering with our Security Operations Centre and third-party providers to identify, respond to and remediate security incidents
• Conducting and overseeing vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, technical risk assessments and compliance reviews
• Driving compliance with information security policies, cybersecurity standards and relevant regulatory requirements
• Monitoring cybersecurity KPIs, risks and remediation activities and providing clear visibility to management
• Working closely with Internal Audit and key stakeholders on IT risk identification, mitigation and closure
• Leading cybersecurity awareness initiatives to strengthen security culture across the organisation
• Providing leadership and direction to the Cyber Security team

What we are looking for

You will ideally bring

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent discipline
• A minimum of 7 years' IT experience, including extensive experience in IT Security and at least 4 years specifically within IT Security, covering areas such as Cybersecurity, IT Risk and IT Audit
• Experience working within a complex, hybrid IT environment, including on-premises and cloud infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and controls, including ISO 27001, CIS Critical Security Controls and NESA
• Experience with Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) and Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) methodologies
• Cybersecurity/IT Security/Risk certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC, CEH or CRISC
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management and leadership capabilities
