Grade UE06: £34,610 to £39,906 per annum, pro-rata

Guaranteed hours: A minimum of 20 hours will be offered in academic year 2026-27.

The Opportunity

We are recruiting a tutor to work within the Design and Digital Media master’s programme. The course we require support for is:

3D Digital Design and Design

Assistance is needed in delivering tutorial activities, providing practical guidance and advice to students, and assessing student work. Applicants should have advanced knowledge of working practices in one or more of the following areas: 3d design, texturing, lighting, rendering, and animation. The applicants should also have an understanding of the intellectual and research context in which digital design takes place.

• Excellent level of digital design practices and skills.
• Highly effective teaching and general communication skills.
• Ability to work confidently and effectively with a diverse student cohort.
• Demonstrable critical, informed, and scholarly capacity to engage with a range of teaching media, including online learning and teaching.
• Ability to work within teams with a collegial attitude, respect and sensitivity toward students and other staff members.
