Data Analyst

Join Workhuman's Business Analytics team as a Data Analyst. In this role, you will drive strategy and decision-making through data, automate manual workflows, and build data models and AI-assisted experiences. The ideal candidate is data-driven, technical, and business-oriented, with experience in building production-grade data models and proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools.

• Become an expert in delivering customer data, automating manual workflows, and turning recurring needs into scalable capabilities.
• Help build data models, data products, and AI-assisted experiences that fundamentally change how people discover, explore, and act on data.
• Transform highly manual workflows into scalable analytical capabilities, and experiment with modern data and AI technologies.

• Experience building production-grade data models; experience with dbt is a plus
• Proficiency in querying, analyzing, and visualizing large datasets using SQL and data visualization tools
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and business intuition
• Exposure to AI coding tools, AI-assisted analytics, conversational analytics, or similar emerging technologies is a plus
• Demonstrated curiosity and hands-on use of generative AI, professionally or independently, to analyze data, write code, automate workflows, or build new capabilities
• Strong communication and project management skills and a highly collaborative approach to problem-solving
• Automated or materially reinvented recurring analytical workflows
• Built or experimented with an AI-enabled tool, workflow, or project, professionally or independently
• Translated ambiguous stakeholder or customer needs into scalable analytical solutions
• Built dashboards, data products, or self-service capabilities that changed how people access and use data
