Financial Planner & Analyst-(VIE)

Join Decathlon, the world's largest sporting goods retailer, as a Financial Planner & Analyst. In this full-time role based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, you will provide accurate financial analysis and reporting, support planning and forecasting processes, and contribute data-driven insights to facilitate effective business decision-making. You will play an active role in risk management and contribute to reducing the carbon footprint of your area of responsibility.

• Support Planning & Forecasting: Assist in preparing business plans, budgets, and forecasts while refining financial models.
• Performance Management: Prepare financial and extra-financial performance reports and analyze real-time data to guide business decisions.
• Expert Decision Support: Develop robust financial models and data-driven solutions to identify business challenges and support future planning.
• Analytical & Technical Skills: Foundational knowledge of financial analysis, accounting principles and reporting.
• Software Proficiency: High proficiency in spreadsheet software (Excel/Google Sheets); familiarity with BI or financial planning tools is an advantage. Adaptability to an AI driven future is a must.
• Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and the ability to identify business challenges and propose actionable recommendations.
• Communication: Skills in data storytelling and interpersonal communication to provide user-friendly business information for decision-making.
• Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant quantitative field.
• Team Spirit: Ability to collaborate and cooperate effectively within a team environment.
• Sports Lover: Passionate about sports and practice regularly.
• Language: English Proficiency of Level B2 or more.
