Cost Accountant

Join our team as a Cost Accountant II, where you will play a crucial role in managing cost of goods sold and inventory accounting. You will assist in developing and maintaining standard costs, analyzing manufacturing variances, and supporting the cost accounting month-end close. This position requires strong Excel skills, excellent verbal communication, and a bachelor's degree with an emphasis in finance or accounting. Experience in biotech/medical device manufacturing is a plus.

• Assister à la gestion du coût des biens vendus et de la comptabilité des stocks, au développement et au maintien des coûts standards.
• Participer aux activités de comptabilité des coûts, à l'analyse des écarts de fabrication et à la préparation des écritures de fin de mois.
• Collaborer avec les opérations pour améliorer les processus commerciaux et l'efficacité, et participer à la mise à jour annuelle des coûts standards.

• Experience in Biotech/Medical Device Manufacturing and public company experience a plus
• Ability to clearly and concisely communicate and collaborate with non-accounting professionals
• Experience with QAD (preferred), proven record of working with Operations and R&D
• Bachelor's degree required with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting preferred, and 1+ years of cost accounting experience with in-depth knowledge of manufacturing accounting; or a combination of education/training and experience
• Self-motivated and self-directed; conscientious approach to work assignments
