About The Role

Join our team as a Staff Electrical Engineer, where you will define the electrical architecture strategy for our autonomous platforms. You will lead critical technology decisions, drive flagship development efforts, and evaluate emerging technologies. With near-complete autonomy, you will shape our 2-4 year roadmap and help build our engineering culture and team.

  • Liderar los esfuerzos de desarrollo de productos insignia, haciendo compromisos a nivel de sistema en rendimiento, fiabilidad, seguridad, coste y cronograma.
  • Construir y desarrollar relaciones clave con proveedores y asociaciones tecnológicas para motores, sensores, baterías y plataformas de computación.
  • You bring deep, multi-domain hardware expertise, strong technical judgment, and the ability to make high-stakes design decisions under uncertainty
  • Cost optimization, design for manufacturability, and endurance maximization
  • Expert-level knowledge of emerging technologies and their application potential
  • EMI mitigation, signal integrity, and power system design
  • Recognized expert across the electrical engineering domain with deep specialization in critical areas (actuation/mobility, sensors, power/energy management, wireless systems, or safety architectures)
  • Hands-on board bring-up, debugging, and validation
  • Experience taking hardware from prototype to production at scale
  • BS + 8 years of hands-on hardware experience with demonstrated system ownership and technical leadership (MS + 6 years, PhD + 3 years)
  • PCB design, schematic capture, and layout (Altium preferred)
  • Comprehensive understanding of platform strategy, applications, and technology roadmap
  • Deep knowledge of safety-critical system design, environmental hardening, and field reliability
  • Firmware bring-up and hardware/firmware integration
  • Comfortable making critical decisions under significant uncertainty
  • Clear communicator who can explain tradeoffs and decisions without ego
  • ARM processors and microcontrollers
  • Energized by building teams and developing future technical leaders
  • Interfaces such as USB, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, LVDS, and PCIe
  • Robotics, mobile platforms, or autonomous systems experience
  • Sensor integration (cameras, LiDAR, IMU)
  • Embedded firmware experience (C/C++, bare-metal or RTOS)
  • High-reliability or functional safety design experience (ISO 26262, IEC 61508)
  • You've shipped hardware that had to survive outside the lab
