• Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable software solutions for the Scheduling product as part of Toast’s Team Management Suite.
• Collaborate with fellow developers, product managers, and designers to build amazing Scheduling features and increase consumer footprint at Toast.
• Mentor developers through code-pairing and detailed code, architecture, and project reviews, and champion best practices for development, deployment, and quality life cycles.
• 8+ years experience in Java, Kotlin or other object oriented language(s)
• A proven track record of building partnerships across engineering, product, customer success, and other stakeholders
• Strong customer empathy and a drive to make their lives better through a thoughtful user experience, robust technical solutions, and continuous product improvement
• Experience maintaining a high bar for quality, and guiding teams to hold a high bar for the technical quality of their deliverables
• Hands on experience with modern web standards and technologies (e.g. React, TypeScript, REST, GraphQL)
• Experience and interest in mentoring/leading peers
