About The Role
Join Buyagift & Red Letter Days as an Affiliate Manager, where you'll shape and own our affiliate strategy, identify new opportunities, and drive measurable business impact. You'll work closely with internal teams, affiliate networks, and partners to grow revenue, improve profitability, and unlock new opportunities across our brands. Success will be measured by growing affiliate revenue and profitability, expanding our active partner network, and delivering a continuous pipeline of optimization opportunities.
- Ownership and delivery of the affiliate marketing strategy, driving sustainable channel growth through scalable campaigns and continuous optimisation.
- Identification of new commercial opportunities and strategic partnerships to diversify the affiliate programme and drive incremental revenue.
- Management and optimisation of the Buyagift and Red Letter Days affiliate programmes, ensuring activity supports wider commercial objectives.
- Able to quickly understand technical concepts and systems
- Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, lookups and pivot tables
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
- Strong experience managing affiliate networks and external partner relationships
- Naturally curious with a proactive approach to testing, learning and continuous improvement
- Strong negotiation, communication and relationship management skills
- Proven ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple projects in a fast-moving environment
- Minimum of five years' experience in an Affiliate Marketing role, gained in-house, agency-side or with a publisher
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear commercial recommendations
- Commercial mindset with experience working in sales-focused, target-driven environments
- Confident presenting insights and influencing stakeholders at all levels
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Resilient, adaptable and motivated by delivering measurable results
- Retail or eCommerce experience
- Experience using Rakuten or other leading affiliate networks such as Awin, Partnerize, CJ or Impact
- Working with Adobe Analytics, Power BI or similar reporting platforms
- Managing content, influencer or editorial affiliate partnerships
