Chief of Staff - Hardware Projects

Join Hexa, a pioneering startup studio in Europe, as the Chief of Staff for our new hardware vertical. In this role, you will support two critical projects focused on atmospheric water generation and satellite communications. You will be responsible for market mapping, building the go-to-market approach, hands-on prospecting, developing partnerships, and acting as a right hand to the founders. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in a hardware/industrial environment, a background combining large industrial companies and startups, and a genuine appetite for business development.

• Mapping the market to identify target accounts, decision-makers, and buying committees in industrial sectors.
• Building the go-to-market approach and structuring how each project reaches its first customers and partners.
• Prospecting hands-on by making first contact and developing strategic partnerships in sectors with long, complex sales cycles.

Who we're looking for

• Solid experience in a hardware / industrial environment, with long sales cycles and complex procurement (e.g., aerospace, energy, defense, infrastructure, or adjacent sectors).
• A background that combines a large industrial company (e.g., Airbus, Siemens, Rheinmetall, EDF, Thalès) with startup experience. We're looking for someone who also has a real hands-on, scrappy startup layer.
• A genuine go-to-market / business development appetite: you're not afraid to cold-call into specific, technical B2B worlds.
• An existing network in industrial sectors like aerospace, energy, defense, or data centers is a strong plus.
• Deep knowledge of the sector and its purchasing dynamics matters more than the exact title of your previous role.
