Head of Life Tax

Join M&G's Group Tax team as the Head of Life Tax, a senior tax leader role that combines technical expertise, commercial insight, and strategic influence. You will lead all aspects of Life tax compliance and reporting, act as a trusted adviser to the Life business, manage key relationships with HMRC and senior stakeholders, and contribute to the Group's wider tax strategy and control framework. This is a high-impact role at the center of the Group's financial and regulatory agenda, offering the opportunity to shape tax strategy and influence business decisions.

• Lead all aspects of Life tax compliance and reporting, ensuring high-quality delivery in a well-controlled environment.
• Act as a trusted adviser to the Life business, supporting strategic initiatives, transactions and regulatory change.
• Build and lead a high-performing team, driving capability development and continuous improvement.
• Strong focus on governance, risk management and delivery
• Deep expertise in Life / insurance taxation, with strong technical and judgement skills
• Proven experience leading teams and working with senior stakeholders in complex organisations
• Commercially minded, with the ability to translate technical issues into clear business advice
